My HND in textile design and time at Duncan of Jordanstone marked the beginning of a passion for applying and unearthing layers of texture and colour using palette knives.
Living at the foot of some of Scotland’s most beautiful glens and a short distance from the North Sea, there is no lack of colour and character to be inspired by. I often incorporate into my original paintings the cosy bothies and cottages that adorn these landscapes, to draw the eye. I feel what I paint captures the spirit of Scotland, I hope you enjoy my interpretations.
